Show Notes

With portfolios including Consumer Affairs, Treasury & Finance, Small Business, Healthy Oceans and Waste and Recycling Peter Whish-Wilson has a lot on his plate. Lucky for us he is also one of the good guys of Australian politics with the intellect and passion needed to put people and the planet back in priority over corporate greed and self interest.

In this podcast we talk about the events that led to Peter becoming a Senator. What its like being a politician in todays world, being in the world of finance during September 11, 2001 and what he does to relax and survive the game of politics.

We first met during the Peloton Against Plastic screenings in Tasmania and Peter came to Wollongong to take part in Clean up Australia, talk to local environmental groups, surf and watch some live music.

Enjoy this episode and stay tuned as Peter and his colleagues in the Greens have some fantastic legislation coming our way.
