Show Notes

Uncle Bruce Shillingsworth is a Muruwari and Budjiti man, a talented artist and water activist for our river systems. His country is the north-west NSW river lands that hug the Namoi, Barwon, Darling Rivers; Brewarrina, Bourke, Enngonia, Wilcannia and Walgett. Bruce’s family are painters, dancers and rainmakers. Annually, Bruce brings together communities along the river in a Corroboree to unite all Australians in the plight of river health.

In this episode we talk about the state of the environment, politics, each and every persons place in this country and the powers that pull the strings, doing so much damage. We discuss Aboriginal totems, Aboriginal LORE and the Voice to Parliament. Bruce like many First Nations people have grave concerns, and this podcast is about listening to these concerns and starting the conversations needed if our often untrustworthy governments expect us to make a decision on it.
